We offer a comprehensive range of multimode laser diodes, available in various packages optimized for both continuous wave (cw) and pulsed mode operations. Our multimode laserdiodes feature a compact single emitter design, making them compatible with standard TO- or C-Mount housings for seamless integration into any environment.

Our multimode laser diodes operate with both spatial and longitudinal modes, delivering flexibility across multiple applications. Constructed on GaAs wafer substrates, these laser diodes cover a wavelength range from 653 nm to 1064 nm. To fine-tune the beam shape and output power to specific needs, we provide stripe widths from 60 µm to 400 µm. Depending on the wavelength and chip design, our multimode laser diodes can achieve output powers ranging from 1 W to 18 W in continuous wave operation.

For high-reliability applications with strict space constraints, our miniFlatpack housing offers two key options: the integration of the laser chip alone or the inclusion of additional beam shaping elements like FAC* and SAC**. This hermetically sealed package is tailored for hi-rel (high reliability) applications requiring compact form factors.

In pulsed mode, our multimode laser diodes can reach optical peak power levels of up to 100W, handling pulse widths as short as a few nanoseconds. With pulse durations in the tens of microseconds, duty cycles of 50% or more can be achieved.

For specialized needs, we offer customized multimode laserdiode variants. These can include TO-packages with dual laser chips, enabling power scaling or the use of two wavelengths in a single, compact package.
